47th Annual NBSCIA AGM & Technical Workshop "Envisioning New Brunswick's Agri-Food Sector in 2050". March 12th & 13th, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Moncton, NB.

The NBSCIA will be hosting a series of Cover Crop workshops across New Brunswick. They will feature a presentation by Woody Van Arkel, a farmer from outside Dresden, Ontario. Woody has been experimenting with no-till and cover crops for several years and is a farmer representative on the Midwest Cover Crops Council. Jason Wells, NBDAAF, will also be presenting on Establishing Alfalfa with a Corn Companion Crop. The dates are January 26th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Fredericton Inn; 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Best Western in Woodstock; January 27th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Rodeway Inn, Grand Falls; January 28th, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Atlantic Host in Bathurst; January 29th, from 9:15 to 12:00 am at the All-Seasons Restaurant in Sussex and January 29th from 2:00 to 3:30 pm at the Four-Points by Sheraton, Moncton. CEUs are available at all the meetings for local CCAs.
