CCA’s will have to acquire one ethics credit starting in 2026. It will be available in 2025 as a soft launch and anyone who has a two-year cycle ending on Dec 31st, 2026 will require 1.0 CEU in ethics. A new webinar person will be focusing solely on ethics and CEU material will be available from the ICCA office.
On January 1, 2025, the ICCA Board approved an amnesty option for CCAs who have left the program within the last 2 to 5 years due to not completing CEU requirements and who want to be recertified. Recipients of Amnesty shall be reinstated without taking the ICCA and Local Board Exams again as long as all other requirements are met and the local board approves the application.
